One of my kids’ favorite holiday traditions was started by my sister, Beth. It has become something that they plan for and start talking about right around Thanksgiving. And it’s something they will be taking with them into their own families.

Literally.

We make plates.

Here are a few of my favorites from over the years.

Max, 2008. He likes to use it when he eats pizza. Because it’s like a pizza on a pizza. You understand.

Here’s another.

Tay put a bullseye on him. Poor little guy.

Here’s another.

Torrie’s little llama.

Tucker’s little puppy.

I think these are their favorite gifts they get for Christmas. I wanted to tell you about this because sometimes it’s hard to come up with ideas and this is one has really served us over the years. Tay is taking hers to college. I just said college. Excuse me while I go lock her in her room.

You can find them at Makit Products. They cost $16.99 for a set of 5 papers and one pre-paid certificate to have one made into a plate.

I also love these products. They are reusable sandwich wraps that turn into place mats. They have some large wraps and snack wraps as well. These guys save so much money on baggies. You can use them for about 6 months before replacing them.

Just thought I’d share.

Tomorrow I’m having a giveaway with something near and dear to my heart. Be sure to check in.

And as always, check out the Gypsy Jules facebook. There are tons of new deals every day.
